With version 1.3.5 bcAdmin 4 offers an innovative tool to detect parasite noise recording using a new machine learning algorithm. After doing call search and automatic id you often end up with Spec or Pipistrelloid recordings that actually are parasite noise. With this new tool just select all those recordings, choose Recordings -> Detect parasites and bcAdmin automatically fills each recordings comment with either Bat or “Störung”. The later are sequences identified as parasites. Export further of your typical parasite noise using Recording -> Export parasites and with the application CreateCallsModel you can add these to the ecoObs supplied machine learned model (requires macOS 12 or newer). Use your own model in bcAdmin 4 by starting the parasite detection while holding down the shift key.
