In the process of developing our new models for call identification we have compiled a set of 260 recordings. These are used for validation of our algorithms with naiv recordings. Currently no such dataset exists as public available set. We decided that after more than 20 years of bioacoustics sampling such a dataset needs to be out in the wild. And here it is online on batIdent.eu together with some first insights into our new CoreML based species identification.
